Deal Hunting

Labels: , , ,

I’m a frugal sort. I’ve done the price comparison sites – is okay but I can get just as good deals from my mainstays eBay and Amazon. And to be honest, price comparison shopping can be tedious and time consuming. Also since I tend to buy rare games and whatnot well my markets are limited.

Daily deal sites are okay – when you visit the site! I barely remember to log into most places that aren’t my email accounts. And because I like doing the aforementioned price comparisons, I waste too much time and end up losing out on a deal. That and you kinda worry if the item that has said deal is worth it in the end.

So when I found Galoo I wasn’t expecting much. But this site works differently. They are not a store, nor some ‘bid in 1 hour’ deal site. They are merely a middle man to various sellers that let you haggle with them on the prices of various products. You just put in a request for what you are looking for and your requested price (you can even note if you want some of the purchase price to go to charity!) and if a seller is down for it, you can buy from them at your price!

And even if you change your mind – that isn’t wasted either. Galoo has this ‘buyer’s remorse’ page where buyers for whatever reason change their minds ion something. This leaves the offer open to any buyer that want the item for that price and for any sellers to fulfill it. This site just screams laid back and I’m going to see if any decent games are to be found on there.

Say what you want at the price you want for products and services at Galoo.com
