Online Poker Games are getting real

Labels: , , ,

Now I’ve talked about playing free online poker before. I mean just type in that into a search and you’ll get a butt load of listings, websites, and so on. A lot of them though are overseas and or deal in a point system, or are sneaky and demand you to pay into a pot to gamble (despite this being illegal). But the biggest thing missing from most online poker sites is that they aren’t that personable. You just see a name. You have NO idea who you are playing with, what their mannerisms are, just a name and maybe a drawn avatar.

This texas hold'em poker site says screw the rules I have…something new.

One, they do a monthly subscription fee of only $25. $25 to play as long as you want (and that probably fills the winning pot for the large turns they host – implying the site has a lot of players as the pot is larger like $50,000 large) But the biggest thing is that with use of I’m assuming a webcam you can see the people you are playing against. You can se that twitch of a from, or that nervous finger swipe. I mean poker was all about reading the player – now you can. I mean, how neat is that?

I have to say, this is incredible in every way. I love the content. It's very rare to find such an engaged and happy bunch, and the number of you who have read through this giant forest of content is impressive. That's why I came back - to write something bigger and better.
