Diary of an (Ex?) WoW Addict

Thanks for the guest post by Jonathan Curtis Making a total career change is hard enough but when you do it and move halfway across the country it’s even tougher. When I took a position in California I had to pack up everything I owned (including the cat) and kiss my family goodbye which was one of the hardest things I ever did. I love my new job which is in the energy sector out here but it’s not easy trying to get used to a new place while at the same time learning a new job. My salary wasn’t as much as it was at home so I’ve had to make some adjustments. I found a great apartment and spent a lot of time decorating and going to sites researching things like SatelliteInternet Broadband in California to make it feel more like home and I think I’m nearly done. I know it’s going to be a long road but who knew moving and changing jobs would be so hard, I mean, really?
